Armstrong technician in safety harness standing on a wrapped transformer

The crew behind the wrap

Armstrong Shrink Wrap was built in the field — on transformer decks, in laydown yards and inside manufacturing plants — by people who understand what it costs when equipment arrives damaged.

Our Story

Specialists, not generalists

Plenty of companies will throw plastic over a machine. Very few understand power equipment.

Armstrong focuses on the power sector — transformers, switchgear and the heavy electrical equipment that keeps the grid running. That focus is why manufacturers and utilities trust us on their factory floors: we know where a bushing can't take pressure, why a conservator needs venting, and how a wrap has to behave on a 1,000-mile haul.

Every technician is trained on our own methods, works under OSHA-compliant fall protection, and treats your site rules as non-negotiable. The result is the same on every job: a drum-tight wrap, a clean site and equipment that arrives the way it left.

What We Stand For

Four promises on every job

Safety first, always

Harnessed at height, briefed on your site rules, and insured for the work we do. We protect people with the same care we protect equipment.

Done right, first time

A wrap that fails in transit costs far more than the wrap itself. We inspect and document every seal before we call a job finished.

Your schedule is the schedule

Freight windows, outage plans and production lines don't wait. We mobilize fast and work around your operation, not the other way round.

Clean and green

All film we remove is collected and recycled. We leave sites cleaner than we found them — every time.

Who We Serve

Industries that can't afford damage

Power & Utilities

Transformer OEMs, utilities and substation contractors protecting units between factory, test bay and energization.

Manufacturing

Machinery builders and plants shipping finished equipment or protecting lines during construction and shutdowns.

Freight & Logistics

Heavy-haul carriers and freight forwarders who need cargo protected for road, rail and ocean legs.

Construction & EPC

Contractors staging long-lead equipment on site months before installation — outdoors, in every season.

Renewables

Wind, solar and storage projects preserving inverters, nacelle components and substation gear in remote laydown yards.

Data Centers & Critical Facilities

Owners protecting generators, chillers and electrical gear through construction dust and long commissioning windows.
